Such a strong gaze. I love that he is facing in one direction with his gaze in another direction, as if a moment before he was looking to the left and just at the moment you pressed the shutter something caught his attention from the opposite direction. Judging by his expression whatever it was he was not impressed :)

Wonderful that the swirls in the plaster act like concentric rings pulling my eye in toward the subject. A very powerful portrait of what looks to be a very intense young man.

Pinina, your portraits are so good! I don' usually see these on the S&D forum. Must look here more often. I hope your show is a big sucess. Isn't it fun to actually see your work hanging on the wall. A dimension i don't always get wit on-line viewing.

It may take a couple of years before a trip to Israel would be in the cards for me. My job doesn't afford me sufficient time and sometimes funds for the venture :(
