2005 and earlier photos sunrise + mist

This is really a cool picture! The rays of sunlight coming through the tree is very spiritual, moving. I wonder what it would look like with the upper left tree limbs cropped out of the picture so as to put more focus on the rays of light? Great pic overall? :)

This is beautifully done. There is detail in the tree which, to my mind, is stronger than it would have been as a silhouette. The use of a prime rather than a zoom is another advantage as there is no flare. Overall, an arresting shot. If I had to criticise it, then it would be that I would have liked to see the tree as a whole, rather than cropped.
