I really like the color and curves in the rocks. The curves hold it together nicely. I just think the sky is over saturated quite a bit.

Sorry but it looks like a polarizer was over used for the blue sky. WAY to dark blue for my taste. Other than that its a nice image of the wave.

Great shot of the wave. I agree technically speaking that it is overpolarized but I don't think it hurts the image overall. The deep blue sky contrasts more with the red rock. The 2 clouds really add to the image IMO.

i think the light is too harsh and as others have pointed out, the sky is over polarized. the composition is unoriginal, but ok. your other landscape work is for the most part much better than this.

I don't agree with some of the previous comments about this image. It may not be original (how do you make an original image of something as iconic and well documented as this?) but it has been well done.

The lighting is perfect - middle of the day sun suits this image as it avoids ugly heavy shadows which would appear earlier and later in the day. The heavily polarized sky works well with the contrasting small white clouds.

Mind you, I am biased, as this isn't too far removed from the image in my portforlio!

I have been trying to get in there for a while now. But with their lottery system and only allowing so many people in a day (10) is making it very difficult. Consider yourself lucky. I will keep trying.

Love the color, the composition, and the detail!  Magnificent capture.
