A Happy Couple

For me this is too much about posing for the camera but then maybe that was the point you were making here. Technically this is really good but I still find it a little annoying. Still there are enough other things going on in the frame to hold interest. The juxtaposition of the couple with the girl turned away from the camera makes it work for me on another level. Other people seem to be scoping you out without wanting to appear to be too interested. My final take on this is that the happy couple is not really the primary subject here or at least not for me anyway. It works.

DC United hosted the Chicago Fire at RFK stadium this past June 16. As

a retired player and coach, I was interested in the play on the field,

but was even more interested in the fans. Of the 200 images captured,

maybe thirty or so will be shown in a photo essay format, so please

consider each image as part of the series.
