What a breath-taking moment and either perfect timing / angle ... or the photographer got really lucky !! One way or the other, this photo has impact, especially for those of us who are bikers and who know the hazards of the road.

Thanks Allan,

Means a lot coming from a biker! I was taking this shot for a while and Phil came along closest to the bank - Just a plus it was Phil with his distinctive leathers.

Keith,

Okay, I don't get it. Didn't you say some time back that you don't ride? Then how in the Hell do you capture, so vividly, what it feels like to ride?

Make this into a poster, and you would have a winner!

Great angle and composition, great image; even though it is only 6am here in the States, it makes me impatient for the sun to come up so that I can burn up some curves near my home before work!

Way to go.

Thanks once again Glenwood...

I've never taken to the roads on a bike but one of the things that drew me to this shooting Bikes business was that I loved to see the form of a rider will ing, encouraging and forcing a bike to do these things man was not meant to do!! :-)

When I was younger I used to ride my pushbike around corners with my knee sticking way out leaning into corners - I thought I was doing just what Kevin Schwantz and Joey Dunlop was... Of course I had plenty of 'Offs' on my pushbike, especially when I tried to lean too far over.

Can you imagine me when I was 15 and I got a Claude Butler Mountain bike with Pirelli slick tyres - I thought I was the business until a few times I pulled the front brake in the wet - you can imagine what happened - LOL

I can say without doubt though that If I did go behind my Mother's back and got a bike a few years back - I would not be here today!
