Wonderful capture! Focus is excellant for moving subject. The joy captured on this childs face is enough to put a smile on anyone. I love it!

This is excellent. Love the color and speed! Kids are hard enough to get, but you captured that look that gives away what's in his head. To me it's that instant when a child thinks he's awesome and turns to yell, "Ha! I'm faster than you!" If this is a crop, I would suggest applying a rule of thirds, with his face at the upper right cross section. If he had a touch of headroom, a little more bike and about another 25% of grass added behind him, you'd be a lock for a photo award. Great shot.

Thanks to all of you for the nice comments and Richard, for the advice...I'll play around with this one a bit. I liked it because I'm his dad, of course, but I just didn't know about its merits as a photograph apart from that. Might have to consider a print of this one...thanks again!

This is a great capture of youth. I love action kid shots but this on is at the top of my list... Great Shot!

Brilliant photo, Vince. Cropping is excellent in my opinion. Of course the passion is what brings it over the top, unforgettable.
