areaman 0 Posted June 10, 2002 I'd appreciate tips on any improvements I could've made to this picture. I used a fill flash, but it wasn't strong enough to get rid of the shadows. Link to comment
irek_trzcinski 0 Posted June 10, 2002 but it can do with some colour improvement (use histogram functions). You befooted Monica and the Goldan Gate should fill more of the photo. This is my humble opinion. Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted June 10, 2002 JMO - I would probably like to see more of Monica's face, and maybe her shoes. And the colors do need a little enhancement. I didn't have much time, but maybe something like this. Thanks for posting. Link to comment
areaman 0 Posted June 10, 2002 Cropping was my main concern with the picture. It was a spontaneous, candid shot which happened to turn out much more picturesque than normal. Here's another shot taken around the same time; is it better/worse? http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=809661 Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted June 12, 2002 Yes, I saw the other one and I like the composition better, but there is a bothersome shadow on the face, since the sun is bright from the left. A nice reflector to the right of the subject would have done wonders, but I wouldn't have had one available, either. thanks Link to comment
hayward 0 Posted June 22, 2002 I don't think this one really succeeds. It's like two photos, one of the bridge and on of the woman. Link to comment
