I like this photo more than the other one in the folder, because of the better balance between land and water. The river snaking up the middle of the frame divdes it up nicely.

Thanks. Douglas, I was hoping to get the "situation", with the snaking tree roots in the foreground to add to the feeling of the place...

Very nice, serene feel to this picture.

I don't think there's too much debris in the foreground. It adds character to the picture, showing the power of the fall. I really get the feeling to be out there, after a long hike, finally that hidden waterfall... I think you captured the atmosphere pretty well.

Nice. My only criticisim of this is I do not like the blue and black frame added it is too complex and too black.

there are many good things about this shot.... but, I just don't like roots as a foreground...
