I think the blind date isn't working out for him. She seems quite shallow. Hollow, one might say. This poor little guy looks quite confused. Once, long ago, I tried to get a good picture of a chipmunk, chasing one about half a mile through brambles and pine needles, but with no success. I think I learned that day just to snap the shutter and not wait around for the perfect shot (that day I was hoping for his nose to be in the wind and the sunlight reflecting in his eye). I've never been able to photograph one since. But enough about how I suffer for my art....this is a great, funny, and technically savvy shot.

How interesting! That little chipmunk seems like he/she really is trying to blend in with the other critters! Very good clarity on the subject, I really like the tree branch in the top left, and good blur in the background! :) KW
