Good composition, pretty shot, for the boys are totaly reacting natural and spontaniously. So no difficult session! Congrats Ian! Yes, with the boys! :)

You have some great subjects here. Those freckles are fantastic!

 

I have a few suggestions on how you could imrpove this image. First, try using a little but more depth of field. If you shot at f/8 or f/6.3, you could control the focus so their faces are clear while the rest of them (especially the logo on the shirt) would be blurred. It would really draw attention to the eyes and those freckles.

 

Also, you might want to up the contrast and saturation in photoshop, as the color on their faces seem a little flat.

 

And it looks like one of the boys is giving a thumbs up, was that intentional? It's really all about their faces here, so I would have kept the hands flat.
