Cycles in an Aligarh bylane

I'd like your comments on composition. The place is a sidestreet in

old city of Aligarh in northern India.

Gives a feeling of old and work. I would have waited for the people to pass..

Why did you photograph this?

 

IMHO it is too ordinary. What is interesting here? Pick something a bit more interesting, next time.

Thanks for taking time to comment on the picture. I find it unfortunate that you should find the picture unappealing. I saw your contributions and quite honestly, I should be asking you the question you have asked me :-) but well, art has many expressions.

I like this photo a lot, but like another person who commented, find the person/people near the top-left a little distracting. The old cycles stacked together against an old wall instantly transports me back to India. The opportunity has been well seen, and executed, save for the little (people) distraction.
