mcginty 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Photos of legs with the environment are always tricky to pull off. In this photo the viewer doesn't have any props to relate too or know what that person is doing. Yes their legs are in the air but on what? I see a fishing pole that could rest upright beside a leg showing that the person is relaxing enjoying fishing. The second part of the photo is the blown out sky and white leg rest. Both draw attention away from the activity. At a quick glance you notice the dark trees in the background instead of the relating to the activity. I would choose a different time of day for this photo, watch for bright objects in the photo that could draw attention away from your subject and be creative with different leg positions and props. ben ontronen 0 Posted September 9, 2007 the right leg seem out of proportion because it is in line with the lens if it were angled more like the left leg the bulge in the calf would be less distracting Link to comment
