I've seen many inspiring photographs of this area, so finally tried

my hand at it. Not complete without the obligatory trip to the

summit, of course. What do you think? Thx for viewing. -CM

It is a peaceful image. I like how the rock in the foreground somewhat echoes the shape of Banner Peak. Nice balance, and the colors are great. The lighting that day was a little flat, more direct light without clouds would make the result more dramatic. But that is the luck of the draw in landscape work.

Clayton, this is a very nice landscape. Nifty composition and light. I wish the reflected tree was complete, but that's a nit. Nice work. Cheers! Chris
