regis 0 Posted July 3, 2007 The road from Arisaig north to Morar is one of the most memorable in Scotland. This isn't because of its twists and turns and narrow single track stretches, though these do make meeting a fish lorry from Mallaig an interesting experience. No, what makes it truly memorable is the sublime seascape formed by a series of rock-framed white beaches and stunning views across a turquoise sea towards the Small Isles of Eigg and Rum and further north to Skye. This stretch of coast is known as the Silver Sands of Morar. Please have a look at a larger version !!! - as smaller one shows some signs of PN compression. Your comments/critiques much appreciated. coolhand 0 Posted July 3, 2007 Well exposed, good depth of field :) I admit I wish there was something more going on in the top third. Link to comment
lonebearimages 0 Posted July 3, 2007 Piotr, I think this is an outstanding image. Excellent composition and exposure. Wonderful colors and details. Depth-of-field is really remarkable. I am not bothered by the blue sky above the cloud bank, I think it balances out very nicely. By-the-by, have you considered a B&W conversion? Excellent capture and good eye for seeing this shot. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
