The edge of the sea

This photograph was made on Vagator seaface in Goa, India in May 2007,

the annual school holiday season, so there were a billion people on

this beach plus one. It took a lot of effort to keep all the people out.

The constant tides and monsoon winds have carved interesting shapes in

the rocks.
