Nice action on the bat head, and it's good seeing the kid's face, his concentration. Getting those pieces in there really makes the difference on this image. It would be nice to have his front foot still be 100% in the image, but otherwise it's a really nice shot, good timing!

You also might try cropping it square, losing the ump and most of the catcher. I see you couldn't really get more space to the left because there's a fringe of somebody in your way over there, so square might make the balance of the overall shot feel better. That's a personal question, just a thought for you to play with.
