Juan Carlos, this is one of the better shots of the Grand Canyon I've seen in a while. Very nicely done, wonderful composition and exposure, and your colors are just perfect. I wonder if you couldn't even crop some of the sky off the top and enhance the overall composition even more? Anyway, congratulations on a beautiful image! Cheers! Chris

Preciosa foto y preciosa metafora.

The horizon line is a bit too close to center of the image, I think it would be better with the horizon in higher and less sky, phenomenal view though, what a wonderful place and great capture! :)

Hi Juan,

I love your comment / title.

I am often reminded that the eyes can only see what the mind allows.

Peter, sometimes naming photos is nearly as fun as taking the; I'm glad that you find the title to be interesting. Indeed we are blessed to be able to see, what others don't, this is with out doubt one of the best perks of photography. Cheers,

You have a nice sharp image here with great color and contrast. My preference is not to show so much sky. Even though the sky is dramatic, I think you have cut off the image in half and have lost the impact of the canyon. I'd fill the frame with the canyon and maybe show a little sky at the top. I believe in the concept of filling the frame. I learned this from looking at the images of Jack Dykinga, a terrific photographer of the southwest.
