kferris575 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Generally I prefer to have the horizon line away from the center of the frame. However, since the reflection of the sun in the water is fairly symetrical, I don't mind the placement of the horizon in this image. Taken with an Xpan on Kodak E100GX film. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 2, 2007 Horizon lines can be anywhere as long as they are dead straight. The image however lacks shaprness so the crisp lines of the strees to the right are blurred and lost. Cropping 1/3 from the right, getting rid of the heavy black area which is taking away light from the left side of the image, its distracting and not adding anything to the image. Well spotted. Guest Guest Posted July 3, 2007 Sorry Kevin, I mean't to say 1/4 of the ® could be cropped.. Link to comment
mark_hanegraaff 0 Posted July 7, 2007 I disagree with Jennifer, I like the transition from ligth to dark. Cropping it, in my opinion would make this picture look boring and ordinary. As it is it's very well done. Link to comment
