Nice timing! My only critique is that I would like to have seen this a bit farther back so that the sand would show past his reflection. Very nice exposure! ~Anthony

Hey Anthony! The original exposure does show more of the sand. I cropped it to this size b/c the boy seemed kinda small... I'm not on my main computer so I can't post it right now, but maybe in a few days I'll put it up, too. :) KW

You getting any Woodpeckers?

You know, that woodpecker was a pain!!! I think he knew I was trying to photograph him. He stayed just out of focal distance until I gave up, and the next thing you know, he's perched on something right behind me! I never got a good shot... :(

Ha ha ha ha! Sounds right, the only time I tried to shoot one, it kept moving around the tree. Then I would move...and it would move...and so on!

Nice shot and idea, although I only noticed the reflection on the sand after reading the title. In order to emphasize the concept behind, maybe you could consider increasing the contrast on the wet sand area so that the reflection would pop out a bit more.

OK, I took the advice of Anthony and Alexandre, and showed more of the sand, and adjusted the contrast of the reflection. I am also debuting a potential signature! I'd love to know what you think! Thanks! :) KW
