cloverkrautplus2 0 Posted June 29, 2007 I snapped this picture on a whim not even knowing what church it was. My friend and I were trying to get to Rockefeller Center and stumbled upon it. I grabbed my camera, set up the shot and snapped. I like the shot, but I think it could be better. Any ideas? I'd love to hear them. Thanks for looking. P.S. I did find out later that it was St Patricks. Link to comment
lunarlight 0 Posted June 29, 2007 What to do to improve this depends on what you were after in the first place. I would prefer to see the cluttered bottom cropped off to make the image a comparison of the shape of the church spires against the modern building skyline. Perhaps shooting it again with that in mind may allow you to use a slower ISO rating and so cut down on the grain in the sky as well. The idea has a lot of promise and it is worth trying this one again with a little more composure. Link to comment
cloverkrautplus2 0 Posted June 29, 2007 Thank you Kit for your ideas. Next time I am in NYC I will plan on trying this again. Maybe on some of the other landmarks as well. Link to comment
