susan stone 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Howdy Tex, I have a "sweet" life. Sometimes Charles the colors in the "big sky" around here are almost too beautiful to believe. You're right Janis, on the computer screen this really "glows" but when I printed it up it lost some of it's "shine". Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 18, 2007 Isn't that frustrating?? This is one of the most beautiful images I've ever seen! I hope you can get it adjusted so it prints out as pretty as it is here, because it should be printed LARGE!! Wow! Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted July 18, 2007 I'm not sure how well this would print up large because it was handheld and I didn't shoot in RAW, the storm was so fast moving and I just ran out in my front yard and started shooting. We get some pretty amazing storms, had one last night to break the heat, and with the open country all around I get a pretty good view of the action. Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 23, 2007 Such a miraculous shot. It looks like the world is on fire, but then that glorious rainbow! Lovely shot. Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted July 31, 2007 Right now our skies are full of smoke from two big fires. Kim knows all about fires after Utah seemed to be burning up. Dramatic skies like this are why Montana is called "The Big Sky Country". Link to comment

susan stone 0 Posted August 16, 2007 My life is good out West Emmanuel, here's a favorite quote of mine that I think you'll enjoy....."Happiness is not a state to arrive at, but a manner of traveling", and I "travel" well. Thanks for taking the time to view some of my imagery, I'll try to reciprocate soon. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted September 29, 2007 colors Susan. The clouds in the sky mean bad weather, but the rainbow somehow adds a colorful and comforting touch here. Nice capture. Best regards, Frank Link to comment
susan stone 0 Posted September 29, 2007 Greeting's Frank, I love watching a storm roll in and I enjoy the changes during all four of the Season's. My work keeps me outside and in the elements year round and I really like getting the chance to record it with my camera. Link to comment
