sawicki 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Why nude cattegory... And I really have doubts weather that kind of photo should be published... Link to comment
daryl_crouse 0 Posted August 1, 2007 You have offered this community a difficult bit of reality. We concern ourselves about ratings, focus, originality, aesthetics, and so many trivial things when there are those who are in need of so much more. I am not going to rate this image, but please know that I am most certainly moved by it. Thank you for sharing, but I wish that the child did not have to endure the operation. Link to comment
martindomok 0 Posted August 1, 2007 The baby was born with the heart that wouldnt perform well, so the operation was inevitable, but successful! Link to comment
cristian_maghiar 0 Posted August 1, 2007 A really moving image, but i won`t rate it, because it would be cruel to give it an aesthetics/7. Great capture, once again. Link to comment
lenz 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Dear MM, Just to know if you have gotten the photo release consent from the parents before putting up this photo? There was a case of a medical journal being sued by the patient after she found her photo published in the journal.. Even with her eyes mosaic out.. Now.. We are not even in the medical journal.. Just my thought.. Sorry.. Link to comment
santoni 0 Posted August 1, 2007 3/3 strong and impact image but nothing else, for my taste. Link to comment

spider71ko 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Sure am glad the baby is doing well. When my son hurts, it hurts me more than him. Must be incredibly heart breaking to see your child with a condition like that, scared to death he might pass at any moment. My son has in innocent mumor. We were told he should outgrow it. Finally took him to a pediatrict cardiologist. We were told his heart is pefectly fine. God bless that little child! Link to comment
martin birkbeck 0 Posted August 1, 2007 This had me in tears. Makes me feel very lucky for my two. We take so much for granted. I don't think I could take the pain of looking at my own child in that situation. People who have no kids just don't know. Link to comment
spines 0 Posted August 1, 2007 Not sure why you would put this in the nude cat. Were this in the Documentary or News/journalism section it'd prob get different ratings. Glad to know the kid's ok. Link to comment
macrophotography 0 Posted August 3, 2007 Sad. Very sad picture. Why you think people would like to see it? It's not sharp, colours are poor. Why nude - it should be documentary. Link to comment

martindomok 0 Posted August 3, 2007 What do U mean not sharp U idiot. That is the kind of colours U get when U shot at the operation table. Link to comment
alessandro.remotti 4 Posted August 3, 2007 Reading other opinions: I also think that right cathegory would be documentary, it's important for people to find out what they look for in the site to see, learn, share and so on. A pity that documentary lovers could not find it, and also it could be a bed view for nudes lovers.Of course colors could be better, but I guess that in that situation is not possible to do it better. Anyway I like the shot because aesthetics, colors and so on are important, but they are nothing without the capacity to TRANSMIT SOMETHING. This one can. And I also think that it is not the only aspect of the picture: I like the choice to put adults in the not-focused background. They contribute to tranmit something to viewers (whatever it could be or you like to think about: hope, warry, heroism, human science and so on). A. Remotti, Turin, Italy Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 18, 2009 This is a strong picture, it has moved my heart. Good job, this is a category of photography separate from the rest. My first born son was born 4 weeks ago and I can relate to this picture. He was born perfect but had fever and was treated with antibiotics with all those wires hooked up to him, kinda looked like this baby. I am happy to know he is ok. Link to comment
