Kieran, I viewed this larger and that helps, but it still comes across as a field of black with pin pricks of light scattered around. My suggestion would be to crop at least half of the less densely lit areas to bring out more detail of what's left when viewed at the size allowed on a monitor. You might also want to consider pumpimg up the contrast so the lit areas "pop" more. That's just my view, of course, and it's probably worth exactly what it cost you... nothing.
