joekonz 0 Posted June 23, 2007 I did not realize Tiger Stadium was still standing! I liked the trip down Nostalgia Lane, Benjamin. Thanks. Link to comment
bkromer 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Funny you say that Joe. It was scheduled for demolition but Detroit's City Council (most ignorant collected group of elected officials on Earth) said they had a plan for development. However the plan did not include a development stategy, nor an investor, nor the funds. Hence the "plan" was stalled and there she stands. Link to comment
gabriella_lucia 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Well your Tigers are sure roaring at the new place. I was also surprised to see the old barn still standing. Link to comment
murphymj4803 0 Posted June 24, 2007 What an excellent shot of one of my childhood's favorite spots to spend a day while growing up in Detroit. I recall sitting in the left field seats at Briggs Stadium aka Tiger Stadium watching the likes of Paw Paw Maxwell, Jim Bunning, Billy Hoeft, Rocky Colavito, Frank House, and of course Al Kaline. Congratulations on such a terrific shot. Go Tigers! Link to comment
