More of a glamor shot than a portrait, but beautifully done nonetheless!

Love all of the triangles, especially those that her hair form. Very nice tones and DOF as well. I disagree about the 'glamour' comment above. (what the hell is 'glamour' other than a cheesy word that reminds one of 'classy' and boudoir? Blech). Well done.

Whether or not it is obvious, it is the asymmetry in this photo that makes it for me. Her hands are not exactly the same. Her head tilts. Her hair is not symmetrical.

 

All of it is so much the same that it is almost -- but not -- symmetrical.

 

It makes the photo more interesting. Sure, there is a lovely face and nice lines. But there is some movement and motion implied by asymmetry.

 

Cropping the sides in a bit would eliminate some of the negative space on the sides that, I think, detract from the focus of the subject. It would visually expand the visual base of the photograph, too.

 

She's wearing a fur hat, but funny, she doesn't look cold. (It's that inner warmth!)

 

 

Pretty model. Her eyes are captivating. This is a great image.
