an old building with a unique feature

this was taken with a Canon Rebel XT with a canon 18-55 mm. I have only had this camera for a few days and it is the first camera I have ever had that I could change lens. SO I Am a newbe so any suggestions would be great.

some warp in that frame.

I'd like to see more of the structure, and I believe it needs a little straightening (maybe a slight skewing?) to boot. There's a small branch at the bottom that you can do without, as well.

Not rated, as I don't believe ratings tell the whole story.

Hi John

Thanks for the comment. At first I thought that this was a warp but upon further study and going back to the building I have come to the conclusion that the door frame was built like that. Notice the logs and how close the door frame fits to the logs. The building may have shifted over time (I think it was built a little after 1836 when Mississippi was opened up for settlement after the Treaty of Dancing Rabbit Creek. In fact where the building is located is on property that my great great grandfather owned when he first came to Mississippi. He owned a boarding house in French Camp so it might have been built by him. He is supposed to have been a little eccentric.
