Hi. I like the composition of this photo (except it's maybe a tad tilted counterclockwise from horizontal), and all the elements of it come together well. I think I may have cropped a bit from the left and botton because the greenery at the bottom seems to border the photo too well, and keeps the eye from following the trail on the right towards the tree. Other than that, I think the colors are striking, but would remain striking and look more natural if the saturation were toned down a bit, especially the green and yellow channels (I might even boost the red a little bit, maybe selectively towrds the left of the tree where the ?sand? is), because it creates a great contrast with the other colors. Finally, if you sharpened it in PS, I would lower the threshold # or increase the radius a bit just because the tree itself seems somewhat unsharp compared with the rock it is sitting on. Overall, I like the layer-behind-layer composition of the photo; I think you did a great job capturing what must have been a beautiful scene. Alex.
