Guest Guest Posted June 16, 2007 Wonderful monumental framing for this simple but powerful image of a boy fishing. I suggest a simple crop to bring the figure a little closer to the viewer. Take out all the light foreground, leaving some shadow area and trim the ® side of image to the inside edge of vertical the post. Your subject will pop out more and will be just off centre. Well done. Link to comment
mark_satola1 0 Posted June 24, 2007 Composition perfect as is. No cropping necessary. Was this taken on a hazy day? A touch more exposure to bring out details in the shadowed areas would be welcome. Link to comment
katmaidog 0 Posted June 24, 2007 I agree with Mark, the composition of this piece is fine as is. I disagree respectully with Mark however in regards to the exposure. I like the subtle nature of the details in darkness. Link to comment
