The color scheme here is great. I like how you've divided the photo into three distinct statements: the blank wall, the staccato handrail, and the nightmare.

A very symbolic picture - Swords, Snakes, Skulls and stairs.

This is a Freudian nightmare if you ask me but a great picture none the less!

Well composed and the lighting/colouring is just right in it's warmth.

The symmetry again is so subtle one could almost overlook its preciseness; the centre gives an almost optical illusion with the way the light runs across & through the hand rail.

Yes all the hallmarks are there it's definitely a David Orea

sincere regards

well i guess it all depends on whether you are going up the stairs, or down as to how one would perceive this. i love how you cropped the mural so there is only the implication of a battle presumably between good and evil, but no solution or outcome. great symbology with nice neutral tones as well. good work. regards, J.K.

wonderful lines, repetition and imagery. I love the way the stairs lead us through the eery battle scene. Fantastic!

there's beauty in death, flexibility in steadfastness and - as Andrea said - art in art

strong photograph!

Beautiful exercise in color, form, perspective and design. I recall being in Mexico and the way murals in public spaces make very strong political and other statements. This certainly looks like a statement, though it appears to me to be more biblical. Beautiful work here.

Fascinating composition. I'm drawn to see more of the mural and yet am so interested in the staircase. Very interesting work!

Another masterwork David! Brilliant idea. The painting "plays" with harmony in the overall composition, and this shows that you know how to look at things... Bravo!
