Guest Guest Posted June 14, 2007 This is the rare Bermudian rope snake :). When I first saw this in the road ahead of me I really did think it was a snake. Link to comment
rickaj1995 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Elusive little buggers aren't they? I've seen a few here in VA and I tell you I almost crashed trying not to hit it. Of course the more common cousin the "Bungee Boa" is more likely to be in the road here. Cheers, Rick, III Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 14, 2007 Rick, Thanks for the laugh! I have tears rolling down my face. Bungee Boa -- too funny! Link to comment
daryl_crouse 0 Posted June 14, 2007 In the Southeastern U.S. we have the very dangerous coppercottedtrattlemoccasins (copper-cotted-rattle-moccasins) which are a unique mixed breed of copperheads-cottonmouths-rattlesnake-moccasins).Which means, "If I see a snake, it has to be poisonous regardless of whether it can be properly identified or not!" Thanks for a great laugh. Very imaginative! Link to comment
