Breakfast

One of my first photographs using the Canon 100mm 2.8 macro lens. Any

hints/tips for improvement would be appreciated.

The red is a little distracting though.

Nothing wrong with the red, but you are a little out of focus.I use this lens a lot.Try swaying back and forth while you are focusing, takes a bit of practise but you will get the idea, and get your shots spot on sharp.

I've got to agree with Birte, but I didn't notice it (focus) until I looked at the larger version of the photo. I didn't think the red was a problem, either. Personally, I think it's fine as is.

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you're talking about regarding the focus issue. With this lens you seem to be spot on or off just a bit. Unfortunately I was off just a bit on this one.
