drfl 0 Posted June 11, 2007 This is one of my first attempts at producing an HDR image. Was the attempt successful or would a filter have provided a better transition? Thank You. Link to comment

rajeevthomas 1 Posted June 11, 2007 Derrald, I think this is very well done. The exposure is great. I am thinking that you have used a ND filter here. I think I would go easy on the blues here a bit...very nice job, regards, Rajeev Link to comment
stp 6 Posted June 12, 2007 I would expect (and therefore prefer) a bit more contrast in light values between the shaded portions and the sun-lit portions. If this is a merge of two photos, I'd adjust a bit by adding some contrast. The image, particularly the trees, appear to be over-sharpened. It's a very nice scene....wish I could view it larger. [Just read that it is an HDR. As with many HDR images, I think it has flattened the light values too much; I'll stick with my suggestion to "undo" a bit of this and add some contrast back in.] Link to comment
