This is so great! It reminds me of a scene from Close Encounters. The whole scene is very surreal and otherworldly. You are seeing and capturing some really diverse subjects and scenes (some very tough to photograph, like this one). I think you are constantly growing as a photographer in a very big way!

THAT's what it reminded me of...I couldn't figure out what it reminded me of, and you got it. Thanks! You are so encouraging!

You really "rock" girl! This is awesome! Really out of the box for you, and I agree with Spencer, you are really doing some great stuff these days and expanding your creativity. weow weow....space ship landing. I've been working from daylight to dark and haven't taken a single photo for ages, soon I hope.

Wow, this is really great. The next time I go to the Seattle aquarium I'll consider photographing people instead of fish.

Wow, you guys are encouraging...thanks! (I have to do something to entertain myself when I take teenagers to concerts :) Steve, as far as being tough to photograph, the camera did it all here. All I did was increase the contrast a little, and clean up some distracting bright spots. I saw this scene and grabbed the camera...I'm so glad to know this is appealing to others, too. Thanks, everyone!

Very original work, Kim. The light is one of the winning factor & all those people really makes this picture works. Very well done!

'Morning, Kim! I saw this thumbnail and immediately had the same impression as the others...people gathering as the aliens are landing...really grabs the attention! So glad you had your cam and recognized the scene as a great one. Love the light and all those interesting silhouettes. I particularly like the one in the foreground who is standing alone...the others seems somewhat awed and excited and he is standing there like he knows what's going to happen and is just settled back to watch. Anyway, just an impression. :)
