tidris 0 Posted June 9, 2007 A comparative sharper photo of the one shown in the link below. Your thoughts would be appreciated: http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=6045598 Link to comment
unc0nn3cted 0 Posted June 10, 2007 Very soft and nice colours, giving the viewer a calm mood :) I'd suggest to make a picture a little bit brighter and to reduce the size of the big variant, so it will make this picture sharper. Regards, Alex. Link to comment

tidris 0 Posted June 14, 2007 Sorry I missed all your comments until now. I have not managed to log on for long lately. I am so pleased you like this version of the photo. I suppose it does have a different kind of tonal variation to the comparative pic. Thank you folks. I'll keep trying to get better due to the efforts that you put in by commenting. Best wishes. lbattjes 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Hi, Taha. Hard to compare the two...I like them both for very different reasons. I enjoy the lighter/brighter colors here and that you have a sharper focus throughout the flower, however on the other image, I enjoy the blur...it gives me a sense that the blossom is falling away from me...I can almost see it moving when I gaze at it. Plus, I enjoy the dark bg contrasting with the bright center of the bloom. I think if I had to pick, I'd chose the darker version because it is more unique and holds my interest longer. However, both are very nice. Leslie Link to comment
tidris 0 Posted June 17, 2007 Many thanks for your detailed thoughts. I suppose people have got fed up with floral compositions over the Spring/Summer season but I am grateful that you have obviously been watching my portfolio to make such a contribution to this simple comparative study. Best wishes. taha Link to comment
