Have had this orchid for about fourteen years. It finally bloomed!

Five beautiful blossoms. I love the way the light shines through the

petals and adds shadow tothe flower. What do you think?

You have a great collection started here. As I was browsing through your flowers I came across this one. Orchids are incredible subjects, and with such a variety of colors and textures, and the fact that they are photographed by numerous people all over the world, I find this one to be very pleasing to the eye. Delicate colors and textures abound in this shot. It doesn't jump off the screen at you, it wraps itself around you and gives you a warm feeling.
