I don't get opportunities to do portrait very often, so please help me

with my technique on composition and post processing effects. This

photo was shot inside my office. A weak nature light came in through

window which was at her front right side. I also applied soft focus

and graduate B&W filter via Picasa. Thanks.

My inexperienced thoughts are that it softens too quick as you get away from the eyes. I think it has potential for a good portrait. Excellent eyes...
