the trip home through Detroit

This shot was taken in a corridor at the Detroit airport. Every few

seconds the lighting on the walls changes, shifting the mood from warm

to cool. My goal was to take a still that captured the colour

transition, and the passers-by as they tried to make their connecting

flights.

 

What do you think?

P.S. A tripod, if I had one on hand, certainly would have been useful

to eliminate camera shake although, in my view, the blur doesn't

completely distract from the picture.

kick ass...i agree with the tripod comment...about it would help.. but not completely ruining..i do think.. if you can make yourself.. you should... go reshoot this one... and get something.. you are completely happy with making an 8 by 12... for walls.. this is one i would have liked to have shot.

Those colors are awsome. Your right about the tripod but I think this is pretty good.

I would worry more about perspective correciton than blur in a geometric shot like this.

it reminds me a similar corridor at the Frankfurt airport. You have done a good job capturing the mood.

Great colours! For a handheld shot this is fairly steady, you did a good job.
