Moments of Life

I find this moving because of the many textures, each communicating something unique. In particular, the comparison of the hands conveys a sharing and passing on of life. The water is a great symbol.

This is very touching. It reminds me of my own grandmother, who passed away. Showing the aged female patient hand makes it universal. The girl is cared for with hat, long sleeves, and water to protect her from the sun, while the "grandmother" figure is exposed to the sun and wrinkled from years of having combatted the elements. Regards.

The hands say so much, perhaps this is the granddaughter of the woman giving the litle girl a glass? In any case a tender moment and a beautiful presentation in B&W. Cheers, Gerhardt
