...to me it evokes our own blindness (the blank eyes) or not wanting to see (looking in opposite directions), while trying to keep connected with reality, or the world around us (the hand over the shoulder)...well, it's of course my own interpretation and what i feel when i see this picture. I love the texture and faded colours that you used, it reinforces the idea of not seeing the nuances, colours in life. It's a great subject to approach through a visual art like photography...
