Fireworks

Your thoughts?

I don't often see fireworks captured in black and white. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought I was looking at a dandilion seed head. Nice placement in the frame and good tonal range, though you might experiment with making the background darker. What are the diagonal lines across the bottom of the frame?

It was a total fluke that this shot came out like this. I was at a fireworks show and I was experimenting with color, BW, long and short exposures, and different shooting modes. This one was about a 1 second exposure, in BW.

 

Those horizontal lines are power lines that got into the shot.
