jerrymat 5 Posted June 1, 2002 A masterpiece, Yuri. This one belongs in a museum of fine art. All it lacks is your signature in the corner. Congratulations on a fine job. Link to comment

reddragonlady 0 Posted June 1, 2002 Very nicely done! My only nit would be that I wish he didn't have that watch or whatever on his wrist. It keeps drawing my eye. Link to comment

yuri bonder 0 Posted June 3, 2002 Work not studio and not PS, it is removed(taken off) in the street, through a dirty window. Link to comment
koska 0 Posted June 5, 2002 What are you saying? That this photo wasn't manipulated in any way?! In that case... WOW!!! Link to comment
mfshadow 0 Posted June 5, 2002 Very emotional, did the subject know you were taking his picture? Link to comment

babatunde martins 0 Posted June 10, 2002 Interesting outcome of this image. The eyes are so dark the remind me of an exfiles monster. The hands on the face make this image interesting to me. THe burned out wrists (from the dirt?) Make nice burned out additions (as does the top and bottom of the image) The high grain and burned out heel of the hands make the contrast high although its on the dark side. I like the overall look of this image. Well presented. People photography is my top favourite type of photography. This image stands out in your singles portforlio as a strong street image(as you said its through a window) I suppose he just had a bad coffee that he will not drink anymore due to the massive headache he got from it. Or perhaps he just recieved his bill for the meal he just completed in the restrurant. Either way it makes most people wonder hard at what he is thinking or what made him do what he is doing. I feel it then succeeds. Link to comment
hexenwolfe 0 Posted June 10, 2002 Even though it is done in a style highly reminiscent of the The Dutch painters, and looks more like a painting than a photograph, it is an exceptional image. If you are going to borrow ideas, borrow from the best! Has anyone ever had a migraine headache???? Link to comment
ricardo_gomez 0 Posted June 10, 2002 Finally, we have a well deserved POW. I'm amazed with the force of this picture. It not only transmits shape & color but feelings and sensations. I supposed that this one has been manipulated in some degree with PS but it doesn't matter. I really like the pshicological content and i want to say THANK YOU for sharing. Link to comment
brendon 0 Posted June 10, 2002 For me the watch symbolizes time and thereby adds another dimension to this photo. For any person in physical or psychological agony, time is an instrument of torture. It's appropriate that the watch is black, or at least dark. Link to comment
