I would crop out the bright ripples at the bottom...just leave the 4 trees and reflections...beautiful.

The subject of this photo is the four trees. Concentrate on them and get rid of the ducks and ripples. I could see this one showing up on top photos with a crop and maybe a little levels adjustment after the crop to bring in more highlights into the rest of the photo.

This is what I would do with your image.

Well, Actually I like it better with the rippels. It gives life and originality to the picture.

I think the ducks make the picture. I'm not sure how familiar the phrase "getting all your ducks in a row" is to everyone, but I just couldn't resist.

 

The cropped image is too sterile. It's more of an abstract to me (which is fine).

Might not have been possible, but a lower camera position could have reduced the space between the duck ripples and reflections, allowing more space above the trees. It feels awkwardly imbalanced as it is.
