dee 14 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Oh, I like this! This is so out of the ordinary, and it gives you such a good feeling when looking at it. Really truely outstanding. Link to comment
dee 14 0 Posted June 8, 2007 I see the 3/3's that you have gotten, but those are from people that didn't take the time to really get the feeling for this shot... To them, it is an out of focus portrait... When looked at for more than 30sec. it all starts to sink in, so please ignore those ratings. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Cheers Darren,I had ignored them and I know full well what they assumed. But if they had looked at it properly or looked at my portfolio they probably would have felt differently (which is why the rating system is flawed and I never leave a 3/3 without a comment or a look at other work). My test proves that as well.Same image up twice:1 had 4 ratings, Aesthetics: 5.25/7 Originality: 5.00/71 had 8 ratings, Aesthetics: 4.50/7 Originality: 3.62/7That is why I think the warriors is a great idea we all know each others work and take the time to look at and critic our images honestly.Comments mean much more to me than ratings, esp as I have a group I people who will give honest comments now.Sherry, people like you who are not warriors (your probably asking what the hell that is!) are included in that comment.Ger.. Guest Guest Posted June 8, 2007 You captured it perfectly. I know . . . THUD! Sometimes a bunch of 3s and 4s is a testament to creativity, meaning you have left the (m)asses in the dust. Link to comment
gerfoy3 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Thud...LOL!!! Cheers Guys, means a lot. For those that are interested, its not out of focus, I dragged the flash. Ger.. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted June 12, 2007 I am a 3/3 rater. I do not understand why you would post this. The subject is crooked, out of focus, covering half of her face and her eyes are closed. I know that I don't see very well because my eyes are all swelled up from crying over my own ratings, but am I missing something? Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted June 12, 2007 Another great moment captured! I love the emotion portrayed. The softness to this is most fitting. The only thing I don't like about this is that we can't here her from here! Link to comment
