the gradation keeps your eyes in the middle and from slipping off the image

That's really something. I'm curious - is it purely hand painted or did you incorporate a few photographs into the image? How long did it take you to complete? If I had to criticise something, I'd say that the columns are slighly 'wonky' and this might weaken the picture a little, but overall it's a fantastic image
