hexenwolfe 0 Posted May 31, 2002 Good work. It is not as easy as it looks is it? In my experience, working from a tripod, using a small f-stop, and being certain that the primary focus is on one of the blossoms will give the most satisfactory results. Nothing disapoints like a photo with no clear subject. (nothing in precise focus) Choose a blossom about 1/3 of the way into the photo and focus on the center of that blossom. Treat the center of the flower like the eyes of a face and focus precisely. Adjust depth of field with f-stop. The smaller the shutter opening, the deeper will be the field of focus. Working from a tripod will allow for longer exposure times required by smallest shutter openings.Good luck. Link to comment
