My father came home, a friend did not



I TOOK THE PICTURE OF MY SON in the MIDDLE the main picture the others: Taken by my mother and others ` in memory of those who have fought ~ I dedicate this! To my Godfather MIA/KIA on Dec 30 1967 (remains found in 1992) You were missed!

Being too young to have been around when this war happened, to me, you have put this, and all wars in perspective. There is nothing about war that is pleasing! This child's attempt at finding the name speaks volumes! Like Fred stated it being the centerpiece makes this an extremely touching sentiment to our soldiers and their family's! I most certainly hope I get to see more of these types of collages from you!

 

With what program did you do this with?? I would love it if you would tell me how you achieved such an beautiful piece of work!!

I agree, nothing in war is pleasing. I have been WAY to close to them for way to many times (hubby is in the Navy).

 

I did this so people could remember. I have posted several of them (my favorite one is of my grandparents). This one is being re-worked to make is smoother for printing purposes.

 

I plan on doing lots more of my family to have for my portfolio's (so I can design and create other peoples family pictures as I have done in the past).

 

I have used many program software but one of the easiest is Microsoft digital image suite (and cheapest) as it lets you change each picture and work with it in PAINT individually.
