kurt2006 0 Posted May 27, 2007 Really nice, J. What do you think of the pink in the lower right backrground? Link to comment
J. Perez 0 Posted May 27, 2007 Hi Kurt, the pink on the lower corner bothers me but I could not get rid of it since it was another flower on the same stem. I suppose I could try cloning it out but I prefer minimal PS for this kind of photo. Thanks for your comment. Cheers, J Link to comment
kurt2006 0 Posted May 28, 2007 J, that's exactly my question. The other flower is so vibrant, you can't help but look down to it. But I am like you: I am not so skilled with PS to change things around and have mixed feelings about changing things artificially. In this case, it is a minor thing because the colors work together so well, and it may not be desirable to change the background. This is really a superb shot. Link to comment

carsten_ranke 0 Posted June 2, 2007 Masterly your choice of tight crop, elegant curves, very beautiful macro shot. DOF is perfect, the LR pink is no issue for me. Link to comment
cheriperry 0 Posted July 16, 2007 Hi again, I just wanted to say this is very beautiful. But again I think the cutting in of the lower flower is not feathered enough. You say it is another flower on the same stem...I really think it looks like you placed it there. Doesn't matter, I think I would still go and try to feather it in to the stem and bg a bit so it is smooth. I would love to show you what I mean if you would like. Cheri Link to comment
J. Perez 0 Posted July 16, 2007 Hi Cheri, I appreciate your very observant comments. Yes, show me what you mean. I am not very skilled in PS and love to learn all that I can. Thanks. Link to comment
