Don't we photographers just love taking pictures of our gear? I mean that in the best possible way - how many photogs on PN haven't burned some film (or digital) on staged / studio setups of their cameras, lenses, etc.? I love the lighting and the geometric properties of the items arranged in the frame but something about having the old stuff lying next to the newer modern equipment bothers me. This certainly isn't the best of your impressive portfolio but still remains a great photo.

I think it splendidly summarizes what we are all crazy about. Great picture.
