petewelsh 0 Posted May 23, 2007 I Was given the chance to photograph Meg in an out door location today. So I accepted the offer more as a chance to learn than for the photos, I learnt a lot but would like to learn some more ... any advice of what could have been done better would be appreciated - Thankyou ~Peter~ Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted May 23, 2007 I think it would make a lot of difference if she were engaged with you, looking directly at you and us. As this is a fairly casual shot, and very nicely posed and composed, it doesn't seem to warrant the distance created by her glance to the side. Why not give it the human element of connection to the viewer? Also, perhaps a bit more contrast, deepening of the tones somewhat in the surroundings, would bring her out just a bit more. In a more classical kind of nude, I think this look away works well, but here I'd consider making that visual connection. Link to comment

richardb 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Hi there I like the natural look and feel, I just think that you model looks a little on the nervous side, and the color under her right elbow is unnatural - perhaps something she was resting on? Link to comment
petewelsh 0 Posted May 24, 2007 Hi Richard, yep it was a foam pad to stop the rocks marking her skin for the next photo .. She is also sat/lying on a towel which I did remember to tuck away This was also to stop marks from the hard rock "dimpling" her behind as I also took some rear view shots .. I will photoshop that away as if by magic. Thanks for spotting it. Link to comment
