stephenfenech 0 Posted May 22, 2007 Wonderful colours, exceptional detail and sharpness complimented with a fitting composition. Another wonderful image for your collection. Link to comment
lois_cox 0 Posted May 23, 2007 I really like the colours and the composition here. However, I'm not enamored of the halo around the tree. If that was an artistic decision, then ignore me. But, if it is the result of dodging the tree to lighten it, I would argue in favour of leaving the tree more fully in silhoutte. Link to comment
stp 6 Posted May 23, 2007 Lois captured my comment....the halo stood out even in the thumbnail. Digital capture of the sun, with the abrupt color/tonal shifts, is often a problem as well. However, the light on the tall grass and the softness in the clouds are very nice, as is the overall composition. Link to comment
dave_holland 0 Posted May 23, 2007 Eyecatching for sure. This has that peculiar halo around darker objects that have become very common with the advent of HDR technique. The photo is remarkable, but it doesn't look very real. Dave Link to comment
tylerwind 0 Posted May 23, 2007 Terrific colors with an excellent composition. I'm interested in knowing (for my own education) what your technique was for getting such a high dynamic range? Did you use multiple exposures? ND Grads? HDR? Regardless, the result is very pleasing. Link to comment
